Developed the new advanced MegaCentre storage services to address the scalability and performance requirements of the Shell Global SAP GSAP environment. Produced the architecture, high level and detailed designs. Setup lab testing of the technical solution. Designed the migration of the legacy SAP systems to the new storage platform. Designed reconfiguration for legacy SAP systems that have already migrated onto or will be migrated to the new storage platform before the revised services were available. Handover and training of the new storage platform and operational services to GIS Operations in Malaysia Shell Global IT Storage. Planning and execution of remedial activities required to make the storage infrastructure fully GUSto compliant. Contributed to the production of required operational procedures and cookbooks. Service development MegaCentre documentation, scripting, work processes, tariffs, billing, reporting, designing interim backup solutions and provisioning of storage requests for MegaCentre customers during the project.  Integrate new services in storage management, monitoring and reporting infrastructure using HSSM, CommVault, Service Center and custom build tools in Shell.

Solution Architect, Scalability 

Setup scalability guidelines for all Shell components and services with HDS and the consortium partners Cisco, NetApp, HP, and CommVault, developed a framework to add scalability in the development workstreams, and developed scalability handbooks for site design and deployment teams. This involved HDS USP and AMS range of products, Cisco MDS series, NetApp Vseries, HP HSSM Storage Essentials, CommVault Galaxy.
